Global Trade Compliance
Last updated: May 4, 2026
At ProcureGlobal, we operate at the complex intersection of international commerce, technology procurement, and global supply chains. We are uncompromising in our commitment to ethical business practices, international trade law, and corporate responsibility.
This Compliance Policy outlines our overarching framework and expectations for all employees, partners, suppliers, and clients engaging with ProcureGlobal.
1. Export Controls & Trade Sanctions
We strictly adhere to the global regulatory landscape governing the movement of IT infrastructure, dual-use technology, and industrial goods. ProcureGlobal complies with:
- U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR): We ensure robust screening of all end-users to prevent the unauthorized export or re-export of controlled U.S. origin goods.
- OFAC Sanctions: We prohibit all business activities, direct or indirect, with sanctioned countries, regions, entities, and individuals listed by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control, the UN, and the EU.
- Customs Compliance: We maintain strict accuracy regarding Harmonized System (HS) classifications, Country of Origin declarations, and valuation for all cross-border shipments.
2. Ethical Sourcing & Human Rights
ProcureGlobal has a zero-tolerance policy for human rights abuses within our supply chain. We require our tier-1 manufacturers and downstream suppliers in China, Southeast Asia, and globally to adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct, which mandates:
- No Forced Labor: Absolute prohibition of prison, indentured, bonded, or modern slave labor.
- Fair Working Conditions: Compliance with all local labor laws regarding minimum wage, maximum working hours, and workplace safety standards.
- Conflict Minerals: Manufacturers must provide transparency ensuring that raw materials (such as tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold) used in IT hardware are sourced from conflict-free regions.
3. Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption
Integrity is the foundation of our negotiation and procurement strategy. ProcureGlobal enforces a strict anti-corruption framework in compliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the UK Bribery Act.
Our employees, agents, and procurement officers are strictly prohibited from offering, promising, authorizing, or accepting bribes, kickbacks, or facilitation payments to or from government officials or private commercial entities to secure an improper business advantage.
4. Environmental Sustainability & Compliance
As a key player in IT hardware procurement, we recognize the environmental footprint of electronic waste and manufacturing. We prioritize suppliers who adhere to global environmental directives, including:
- RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances): Ensuring hardware procured limits the use of specific hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products.
- WEEE Directive: Supporting the proper collection, recycling, and recovery of electronic waste.
- REACH: Compliance regarding the registration, evaluation, authorization, and restriction of chemicals in manufacturing.
5. Data Security & Information Protection
In our role as a procurement partner, we handle sensitive intellectual property, proprietary configurations, and corporate data. We maintain compliance with data protection regulations such as the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act). All client data, RFQ details, and strategic sourcing blueprints are protected by enterprise-grade encryption and strict access controls.
6. Reporting Violations & Whistleblower Protection
ProcureGlobal is committed to a culture of transparency and accountability. We encourage all employees, clients, and supply chain partners to report any suspected violations of this Compliance Policy, international law, or ethical standards.
Reports can be made confidentially and anonymously. We strictly prohibit retaliation against anyone who raises a compliance concern in good faith.
